August 31, 2010-Hot and Dusty

Dear Family and Friends,
As the dry season is wrapping up, it has gotten very hot and dusty. Because of the dust I've had sinus problems/cold. But the other day I made a water/salt mixture and got it up in my nose and so I don't have the sinus pain now. But I'm doing pretty well. We've been working on drinking a lot more water, because of how hot it is and how bad we are sweating.
It's fun to hear about all the football adventures. Good job to Fano and Caleb. I received some letters and it was fun to see about Fano in the newspaper.
Life here is good. We're teaching Leticia's mom and Ivanildo's niece. They are both really liking what they are learning, so we should have a baptism this week or next.
Thanks for the RSL updates. How many teams are in the MLS now? 15 or 16? That's really cool how well RSL is doing.
Sounds like life is going really well.
Nothing really spectacular or really interesting happened this week, so this email might be shorter. I have a couple of pictures of Leticia's baptism-her with Ivanildo, with us, a close up (I think it looks like Dad) and my possibly balding head....so yeah.
Love,
Elder Barton
It's not letting me send the pictures, so I'll try next week. Sorry
